In a celebration of heritage, artistry, and modern elegance, Ani Alvarez Calderon, Creative Director of Beneai Collective, unveiled her latest collection in a deeply personal moment — presenting it alongside, Arianne Carrillo. This intergenerational pairing underscored the brand’s mission: to weave tradition into the fabric of contemporary fashion, ensuring ancestral knowledge is not just preserved, but carried forward.
True to its ethos, Beneai Collective continues to lead in sustainable luxury, spotlighting exquisite pieces created with the ancestral techniques of Kene Art. Each textile told a story — the deep hues born from natural dyes, the textures shaped by countless hours of meticulous handwork, and the embroidery revealing patterns steeped in centuries of cultural symbolism.
The collection was brought to life through a unique creative process: close collaboration with the talented women of the Shipibo Conibo community in the Peruvian Amazon. Among these artisans — Clemencia Silvano, Clara Silvano, Hermesilia Bardales, Nayeli Jimenez, Sarela Bardales, and Victoria Vasquez — each contributed their mastery to the garments, their touch visible in every thread. Together, they honored and elevated the artistry of both Kene and Iskonawa traditions, transforming cultural heritage into wearable works of art.
The night itself unfolded as a visual and emotional journey, framed by the vision of Director Christian Duarte, whose staging transformed the presentation into something immersive and cinematic. As models glided past, garments shimmered with the depth of their making — a testament to craft, culture, and the enduring power of fashion to tell human stories.
